On the 28^th of May 2010 the Company of Garmed presented an absolute worldwide novelty to the interested doctors: Bond Bone™ bonding-graft material. W40 nationwide base doctors attended the inauguration meeting. The reactions towards the new material were very enthusiastic.

The innovative biomaterial was presented to the doctors by its creator dr Amos Yahav, an outstanding Israeli implantologist, who visited Poland especially for this occasion. Dr Yahav talked about the 15 years of the search, crowned with the creation of BondBone. Dr Yahav’s aim was to create a product, which shall meet the requirements of the every doctor, regardless of the fact what type of biomaterial has been so far used by him. The years of clinical practice suggested that augmentation effectiveness is to a large extent determined by the proper stabilisation of the biomaterial within the location of augmentation. What was therefore needed was material, which shall combine the properties of an independent bone replacement material, a plastic curtain membrane as well as adhesive for other bone replacement materials. BondBone™ meets all of the aforementioned conditions.

The unquestionable advantage of the material is the fact that it may be mixed with all biomaterials, the fact that improves not only the effectiveness of the executed procedure but also its economical characteristics. The further advantage of the aforementioned material is the rapidity of the augmentation process. The new bone is ready for the intake of an implant as quickly as 3 months after the procedure. BondBone™ is very easily applied, the whole procedure last as long as just a few minutes. All of the presentation participants were given the opportunity to test the material upon the prior prepared positions.

The participating doctors have been very enthusiastic with regard to the new product. They have been impatient to learn when Bond Bone™ will be commercially available and have ordered as many as several syringes of the material each. The company of Garmed will initiate the sales of the BondBone product in the middle of June 2010.
